Do you love to make art? Then join the Fowlerville Art Club to share your skills, learn from others, and meet other creative people! We will work with different media and techniques each week. We also work on projects for school and community events. Some of these activities include:

We also have open studio time so feel free to bring in any projects you are working on and utilize our space and supplies! Everyone is welcome to join at any time, you do not have to be taking an art class! We meet twice a month, sometimes more, on Monday’s right after school in room D-112.

Manga/ Anime Club is new this year. Students wanted to form a club in which to create in the Japanese Style of drawing/cartooning. We will practice our craft until we become good at it and could publish our own Comic Strip about Fowlerville and the creatures, we put in it. We will meet at the same time as the Art Club.

Serving on Class Council allows students to serve their class in a leadership capacity, plan events, and raise money for activities such as prom and graduation lock-in.

D & D

D&D Club meets in Room D-111 every Thursday from 2:15 until 3:30. This is a student-led club of role-playing, good times, and camaraderie. Come join the fun! All are welcome. 

DECA

DECA is a national student organization for students interested in business careers. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. FHS DECA students have the opportunity to meet with students from around the state in various business competitions which further their knowledge in specific business topics. There is a great opportunity for networking with students around the country and also with businesses that are involved in DECA. Scholarships are available with a win at a national competition.

FFA

FFA is the premier youth organization preparing members for leadership and careers in the science, business, and technology of agriculture.  The National FFA organization has over 700,000 members in all 50 states and US territories. FFA is the student organization involved in agricultural education.   FFA prepares students for successful careers and a lifetime of informed choices in the global agriculture, food, fiber and natural resource systems. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.  We hold contests, workshops, recreation events, and conventions throughout the school year. All high school students can join FFA, but must be enrolled in an agricultural education class for one year of high school.

French Club

Meets 1 or more times a month from 2:30 -3:30/4 depending on the activity.  Listen for class announcements and activities. Student led activities include French movies, making food, playing games and making projects.  All activities are in room D101 unless otherwise notified. On occasion, the group will take field trips to watch plays, see movies or eat at “nearby” restaurants.

Gamer Support Group

Do you wish you could finish your homework before leaving school? Do you want to find other people who share your interests? If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Gamer Support Group might be for you! GSG meets Thursdays in the library and is open to all HS students. Several types of games will be available: video games, board games, card games, role playing games, etc…game night runs on Thursday until 5:00 P.M. Students are welcome to bring their own gaming equipment. However, it is understood that the school takes ZERO RESPONSIBILITY for the condition of said equipment after game night.

German Club

Meets 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month October-March from 2:30-4:00 PM in D-102 In the German Club we will celebrate monthly holidays and cultural events. A few times throughout the year, we will meet and cook some German dishes. German Club will begin on Wednesday, October 19th. 

InterAct Club

Interact club brings together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self.

Find out how serious leadership can be seriously fun and come join our Fowlerville High School InterAct Club.  We meet in B204 the first Wednesday of the month after school from 2:20-3:20.  ALL ARE WELCOME.
Fowlerville High School InterAct Club is a Leadership Club that teaches students how to become good leaders in their community.  We do a lot of community service and leadership projects in our town of Fowlerville.  We do the "Painting in the Ville '' for Christmas Season for our local businesses, we do our Blessings in a backpack for our Elementary Students in need, to take home some food for the weekend.  We are supported by our local Rotary Chapter and learn much about being a leader and taking every opportunity to make a difference in someone else's life..  We accept all grade level students beginning with 7th -12th gr..  Come join us, we look forward to meeting you!

Lit(erature) Club

Lit Club is for any student who enjoys reading all kinds of books or writing creatively. We meet in the media center twice a month after school until 3:15 to talk about what we are reading and writing, look at books with different themes and genres (graphic novels, mystery, etc.), compare books and movies, meet with authors, get feedback on our writing and much more! You don’t have to be a big reader to join us, you just have to enjoy books or writing and talking with others who do as well!

National Honor Society

National Honor Society is a group that recognizes dedicated, hardworking students and allows them to increase achievement through community involvement and leadership roles. Among other things, members are responsible for the design and implementation of service projects of their choosing. NHS also is responsible for the high school blood drive. Robotics Team - The F.A.S.T. Team

The Fowlerville Area Scientific Technicians or commonly referred to as “The F.A.S.T. Team” is a High School Robotics Team that competes in the First Robotics program. The FRC ( First Robotics Competition ) is a program that challenges High School students from around the World to build a industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game in alliance with other teams, while also fundraising to meet their goals, and advancing respect and appreciation for STEM within the local community. The F.A.S.T. Team has had very good success as a proud member of the First Robotics Community and is looking to grow it’s Team in the future. If you like playing video games, tearing things apart and putting them back together, or even working on cars, then the F.A.S.T. Team is for you! Spanish Club

Spanish club meets one Monday a month from October to May. 2:30 -3:30 in D-104. Spanish club provides students with further knowledge about the cultures where the language is spoken. We will listen to Spanish music, celebrate cultural events, and meet and create different Spanish dishes. All are welcome.

Student Council is open to all students that want to have their voice represented on a larger scale. Student council plans spirit days, pep-assembly games, and themes for dances.


Tech Club (Theatre Technology Club)

Tech Club is a working student service organization that provides technical theatre support for the Alverson Center for Performing Arts, Fowlerville Junior High Auditorium and many remote district activities, including FCS School Board meetings. Dedicated FHS students begin their training in September and continue to work through June to manage all school related, community and professional stage productions. Tech Club is responsible for behind-the-scenes operation, design and support in such areas as stage assistance and management, house management, properties, costuming, rigging, sound engineering and lighting. Tech Club members are fully committed to producing impressive plays, concerts and recitals, all while developing essential life skills that extend beyond high school. Tech Club meets every Wednesday from 2:20 to 4:00 in the Alverson Center for Performing Arts. All FHS students are welcome and new members accepted until the end of March.

Unified Archery

The Unified Archery Club is a chance for students with and without intellectual disabilities to work together in an inclusive environment. Students will learn the National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) format archery. All archers must shoot with provided equipment: a standard Genesis Bow, full length Easton 1820 arrows and 80 cm Targets. Unified Archery promotes understanding, inclusion, and acceptance for all students!

Umbrella Club

The FHS Umbrella Club meets every-other week from 2:30-3:30 in Room B109.  ALL  students are welcome! The umbrella is our symbol of inclusivity. We are a club for ALL students who want our school to be a more inclusive space for all cultures, ethnicities, races, genders and orientations.  We have room for YOU under our umbrella! Hope to see you there! Join anytime!

Unified Cheer

The Unified Cheer Club is a chance for students with and without intellectual disabilities to work together in an inclusive environment. Students will learn how to cheer, jump, stunt, and tumble. Students will also perform at the Cheer Showcase in February. Unified Cheer promotes understanding, inclusion, and acceptance for all students!


Youth Activation Committee (YAC)

The YAC consists of youth leaders with and without disabilities who work together to plan school-wide inclusion activities, promote inclusive athletic events, and organize school-wide community service events.  The YAC takes responsibility for the promotion of the Unified Sports programs at FHS. Our Unified Sports include Bowling, Poly Hockey (floor hockey), Cheerleading, Athletics (Track) and Bocce Ball.  Each year the YAC organizes a school-wide non perishable food drive for the Family Impact Center and a pet supply drive for the Humane Society of Livingston County. The YAC also helps to educate our student body about inclusion and acceptance during a week-long disability awareness week.  YAC members educate, motivate and activate youth to become agents of change in our community through advocacy for respect, inclusion and acceptance for all people. Meetings are on Mondays in B-101 2:30 - 3:00.
