It's hard to believe, but the end of the school year is right around the corner. April always reminds me of the song “The Circle of Life” from The Lion King. In particular, the line “There is more to do than can ever be done”. But do it we shall!
Band Boosters Updates (Band Boosters Needs Your Help!)
"We are a group of parents that support the Fowlerville Band by fundraising and organizing events to help support many band related things from band camp to the last concert, and everything in between.
Maybe you are not in a space to commit to a board position and that’s ok. We can still use your help with several other smaller tasks. We believe that many hands make lighter work for all. Even a few hours of your time can make a huge difference!
We look forward to sharing this fun opportunity with you to support our band students!
Fowlerville Bands Invited to Perform at Tiger’s Game!
We got the gig! Fowlerville bands will be performing at the home Tigers game on Thursday, May 21st. More details to come, including permission slips. For now, don’t buy tickets to the game yet (Tigers vs. Cleveland Guardians). We will have a group code available and need to sell a minimum of 200 tickets. Band student tickets will be $25, guests and guests will be around $35.
Fundraising update:
We wrapped up our SNAP fundraiser and were able to raise over $1,000 to support our program. Thank you to all who donated, your support means a lot to our kids. We are now kicking off our Little Caesars Fundraiser! Students will be selling kits until May 14th. Most students signed up for their account in class, but if your student didn’t have their chromebook here is the link to set up their account.
If you would like to support the program but perhaps don’t have a student enrolled in a band class/have a senior who isn’t interested in adding money to their specific account, here is a link to the online ordering platform. I know my family always likes to get some cookie dough for those last-minute bake sale needs.

Friday, April 24th: TAC Jazz Festival in Hastings, MI
Sunday, May 3rd: Spring Concert 1:30 P.M.. Call time for Choir and Concert band will be 1 P.M. in the High School Band Room. Call time for the Wind Ensemble will be 1:15 P.M.
Monday, May 11: Senior Awards Night: 6:30 P.M. in the Alverson Performing Arts Center
Wednesday, May 13: 26-27 Band Parent Info Night. 6:30 P.M. in the Alverson Performing Arts Center
Tuesday, May 19th: Jr. High Band and Choir Performance. 6 P.M. in the Alverson Performing Arts Center.
Thursday, May 21st: Band Performance at Comerica Park: Estimated leave time: 10:30, Perform at 1 P.M., stay for game, estimated return to FHS at 7 P.M.
Monday, May 25th: Memorial Day Event: More information to come.
Sunday, May 31st: Graduation 1 P.M. Band call time 12:30 P.M.
August 2-7: Band Camp Summer 2026. More information to come.
