Nick Krueger, Assistant Principal

I am excited and honored to be a Gladiator!  Each day I look forward to helping students and staff become the best versions of themselves to better prepare everyone for the future.  I am excited to get to meet new people in the community through this position and look forward to what the future holds.

Background

Prior to coming to FJHS, I served as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Lakewood Middle Schools in the Lakewood Public School District west of Lansing for two years.  Prior to that, I worked for Owosso Public Schools for 16 years as a high school Science and Engineering teacher, Career and Technical Education Director, and also Testing Coordinator.  I also taught for one year at Battery Creek High School in Beaufort, SC.   I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Siena Heights University in 2004 and my Masters in Educational Leadership K-12 Administration in 2012.

Besides teaching, I have coached all levels of football and wrestling from middle school assistant to varsity head coach as well as community youth soccer and basketball through Meridian Township.

Personal

I currently reside in Haslett with my two amazing daughters Allison and Lindsay who keep me very busy with school sports and traveling all over the Midwest for soccer.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family either camping, hiking, golfing, or relaxing poolside.
